History
Founded in 1917, Iris is the oldest female Carnival krewe and one of the largest, with 1,600+ riders. Members traditionally wear gloves and masks.
Where to watch
The classic Carnival corridor. The vast majority of major parades roll here - up Napoleon Avenue, along St. Charles Avenue, and down to Canal Street.
